    Cleaning Drivers Side PCV

    Hi Folks,

Thought I'd clean out the spiral oil seperator on the rocker cover but could not get it out.

I even tried putting a screw in & pulling.

Any ideas how to get it out? V8

    Thanks

Long nose pliers, that's how I get them out. I left mine out without any dramas, stops them getting blocked.

Thanks, but if pulling as hard as I can on the screw doesn't work I think I'm stuck.

    Can you see the pictures?

There seems to be some sort of cap on it.

Then yours must be pretty cruded to be stuck like that, there are 2 lugs on one end, if this the end you can see ( Cap ) the 2 lugs, try using a long nose pliers to twist it to free it, if like the other end with the "stick end up" then you should be able to grab the bit.
All else fails you might have to pull the rockers covers and hit them out from underneath.
I have usually found they have the 'stick end' up so you can grab them with long nose pliers
