Looks like a d2a to me. Especially with that date on it.
I have this intercooler
Is it the upgraded D2a unit with better cooling??
I have the same part number in my 2002 D2 but date is 2001 and there's no point swapping them over if the same
Looks like a d2a to me. Especially with that date on it.
"Land Rover - making mechanics out of everyday motorists for nearly 70 years"
eu2 is around 27 mm thick , eu3 , 40mm
Looks like I've got a spare![]()
That part number on the sticker would be the manufacturers sticker as it is not a Land Rover part number. The land Rover part number is PCM100220. Microcat shows the earlier part number ESR3777 supersedes to to the new part number.
Cheers, Mario
AFAIK, the bigger intercooler came with EU3 in the 2002 model which also came with the NNN ECU. 2002 models usually start production in August 2001.
I am sure mine had the larger one before I fitted the even bigger Serck one. This is partly how they got the extra 40NM in the autos.
