Are you sure it's not the fresh air duct beneath the windscreen, pop the bonnet and have s look, you can silastic a bit of plastic over this, creating a 'protected' duct...

    Leaking windscreen...............again..........still

Whoah there, Hellonwheels, hold up a minute there!!!

Didn't Tinggu (the OP) talk about water affecting his HEADLINER on the RHS?
Now, how can a fresh air duct BENEATH the windscreen possibly account for that?

I have had the exact problem to which you refer, and I have fixed it in a similar way (although using thick aluminium foil instead of a bit of plastic), but if the headliner is getting wet, I think it is a safe bet that the water is not coming in where you are talking about.
    Don't you agree???

I think it would be wise to check your internal fuse box as well because water tracks down the framework and ends up getting into the fuse box from the back and this will cause you electrical dramas down the track

Well emotive response Andrew. Just sharing my experience. If it's the hood liner that's getting wet... then of course it's not the duct....

When I had my ins co replace the windscreen I lobbied hard and long for a genuine screen ... pointed them to all the online info I could reference re leaking non genuine screens, water ingress to fuse box, lack of UV rating of screen for climate control sensor on dashboard, yada, yada, yada ... Is the non genuine screen equivalent to the Pilkington screen ? NO! So they finally gave in and fitted a genuine via OB's and it was all good 1st go.

Hit em up hard for a genuine screen and back that up (swamp them) with all the info you can re NG screens being not fit for purpose.

... Or do they want to do it again ? ... and maybe deal with the potential for water ingress damage to the fuse box ?
