When you already have a solution with HTML, Java, CSS, C#, C/C++ and Java on windows, linux, embedded and Android, it's just not worth the headache of getting the iOS version working as proof of concept....
    But that's way of topic
OT? Yes. Interesting? Yes also. Can you not use Swift to compile those languages? It's ignorance asking here. And maybe you're right, it could be talked elsewhere.

On topic, however, I am interested in any solution that you come up with, barring Android. Not worth buying a device I won't use for anything else.

    That's all I want/interested in too.
I ll just dig into the SLABS wiring diagram and use a switch to dump if the plip option available gets too fiddly.

Not sure on swift, but even Xamarin actually uses a client over on a mac to build the iOS image. I just hate giving money to Apple

    Re: Plip on keyring
It might be that Jake will allow me to have a look and see how practical it is to reverse engineer the plip - though unless it is a simple code I don't fancy spending any time on figuring it out.
The other side of that is just doing a basic 3135 or 415MHz RF link with one of the common sets to talk to a board, providing hardwired and RF plip control. Again, I actually have a pair of these modules in the office, but I didn't have time while I was getting mine to work, plus the proto ones are a bit bulky for a handset, it would need definite PCB work, along with a bit of case design (now that is something we aren't setup for, neither design nor production).

Couldn't it be just a stainless or brass plate with a switch that said standard, lowered, raised and 'ur an idiot now u need to go even higher'? To make it pretty u could add led activation lights and laser engraving. Personally I love tech, & I love apple, but I'd rather a bush proof solution rather than wireless. If I want the back end to go up, I want it up not fiddle around restarting my Bluetooth because the connection is faulty.

Where the hell do u buy those speedo correction boxes that hunter DI make?? I googled this years ago when I bought the d2 and found no website, no Facebook no nothing. Just forum chatter that was many many years old.
Seemed a little suss to me.
Anyway, speed correction would be a must have, and the SLS thing, I would be happy with a button on the dash for down, to match the one for up. Nice and simple. Leave the blue tooth and wireless junk for the mini truckers.
