    There is a new danger to be aware of, if you have a new house.
    Apparently many garage floors now are poured over that poly waffle stuff so that the thickness can be only 40MM or maybe less.
    So be careful using axle stands.
    An Acquaintance told me that there was a report of a person being crushed to death by the axle stands pushing through the thin part although I haven't seen any reports, but sounds logical.

    Yes.

    I'm happy to freight them anywhere as long as it is no further than my storage to our gate... about 10 metres!

    A forumite already put their hand up so that'll make space.... to store carefully some more junk we don't use!
