    Dead mouse

About a week ago I turned on the heater and had the fan going flat chat and noticed tiny bits of black foam rubber flying out of the vents.
We have had a problem with mice over the last few weeks and one of the little blighters decided to upgrade its accommodation and move into my Disco So I chucked a mouse bait under the passenger side seat.
In retrospect I should have set a mouse trap but foolishly I didn't and the result is I can smell the little sod but I am buggered if I can find its worthless carcass.
I have stripped everything out of the back of the truck, taken the side covers off the front seats to have a good look in there and I have pulled off what I can under the dash but I still cant find it.
Has anyone else had this problem ? and if so where did you find the culprit?

Inside the heater fan usually. Should be able to drop it out the bottom of the heater box with 4 screws.

After baiting the rats in my farm shed I developed a dreadful smell in the disco and eventually found a dead rat slowly being cooked on the turbo.

We have the odd possum dead we think in the roof space, stinks the pantry out for few weeks. The wife wants me to go up there to find it, I think it may be in the wall.I've never seen one.

best thing i ever did for mice is get a bucket fill it with water drill 2 holes in it put some wood in drill a hole in the bottom of a coke bottle cover it then cover in peanut butter havent had a mouse problem since,
and the local cats have found the bucket and empty it of the floating mice so i dont even have to empty it lol
