Update test run went off with no real problems just noticed when "D" is selected it dosn't show up on the dash display or the shifter indicator all the other positions show up PRN 321 but not D. Did the run in "D" without towing sat on 90 -100kmh and 2000 - 2250rpm which seems to be ok is there any issue I should be concerned with?
Might need slight rotation of xyz switch could be reading the intermediate value.
Thanks steve noticed the light flickker and D flash up on the dash when I shifted into D from ethier side ( N-D-3 ) could be this switch is faulty also?Quote:

The speculation of what he has under the hood is supported by the fact he is trying to get his 'D' drive (Delorean drive) working and seeing lights flashing.
And 88mph hour is a lot faster than 90-100kmph...

Assuming all is OK now, what is your planned itinerary? You thinking of Kakadu and all that sort of stuff? Or just get to Darwin as a mile stone?
