Another vid about Ecu fault top switch, it shows oil in loom at ECU, but interestingly oil wicks up to the fuse box relay also something not mentioned about oil in loom.'

Thanks for that. Anything to cut through the mystery is appreciated.

I would like a set of the probes on his multimeter but I don't want to buy a higher end meter to get them.

The great thing is there are quite a few Video Tutorials around now that visually make it easier to understand . So people have a hard tine reading manuals and soaking up the info, but when you see it done you think , Yes I can do that also.

IMO that video is only an advertising to sell the testers cos oil in the red plug has deffinitely nothing to do with topside switch failure which is caused by those big capacitors or by a fused resistor on the board beneath them.... also stating that you can diagnose a MAF sensor with multimeter is exagerated cos all you can do is to see if it has supply and output which in most cases is irrelevant and it's about it's circuit not about the sensor's functionality

Try Jaycar, similar probes available that will not cost you a child's arm

The probes could be fabricated, in your own home workshop, using light tie wire or similar.
