Can anyone confirm whether or not extentions to brake lines, bump stops etc are required with these?
Searches give conflicting info but seems these shocks are about 50mm longer than stock when extended and compressed.
Happy to hear of other recommendations that are known to handle heavy corrugation stints.
Thanks.

						Thanks Slunnie.
I thought these would be a common fitment. Presumably folks are fitting 6046/6047 if not these?
I have stock parts as below (open, closed in mm) though not sure these are correct:
Front 550 325
Rear 555 335
If correct, then Bilstein 994/995 are ~65mm longer extended and compressed.
For reference, here's some data from this thread: Discovery 2 front & rear shock length list

I have a set of the 994/995 coming this week (hopefully) to go with some dobinson C51-052 & C51-022 coils.
I'll let you know if they fit on the weekend.
I put the Terrafirma extended brake lines on (I have a 2" lift already). But not entirely sure if I needed them. The stock lines looked long enough and I'm not running disconnects on my sway bar links. The extra 50mm of brake line is almost too much. I will take some pics for you. The front I have had to continually adjust as it was rubbing on the tyre on full lock due to the way the extra hose kinks around.

						Thanks clintoo.
Any ABS line manouvering/extending?
no that looked ok. PO installed the lift. I will have another look at it on the weekend as I do need to move one of the rear ABS cables as the flex in the brake line is pushing on it.
I dont have extended bump stops though. which is something I'm a little unsure of, whether I need them or not.

						Update -
Fitted Bilstein part numbers F4-BE5-B994-M1 and F4-BE5-B995-M1 to D2 on +2" King springs.
Rear brake lines are tight at full droop. Not required as a matter of urgency but will change these out. Front have plenty of length.
Enough length in the factory ABS lines with a little bit of manouvering.
Front cross member required ~20mm spacers to clear front prop shaft at full droop.
Have not yet checked bump stops at full compression but suspect they will need extending.
Ride quality on test drive was excellent.
Where do you find the extended bump stops or is it just a matter of fleaybay and pick what you like.
Regards
Mike
