The wife's Mazda 2 makes a soft buzzing sound for about a minute after turn off.
I did suggest it might be the rubber band unwinding, but The Navigator felt that comment was far too stupid to be true. Weird Cabin sound after shutdown

Not the noisey little a/c fan, best description is mic/amp feedback, only lasts for maybe 20 seconds but doesn't start till a minute or two after turning it off. I swear I'm not going mad...I have witnesses!!

Is it the centrifugal oil separator spinning down? I can just hear mine on a quiet day after shutdown, but sounds more like a far-off jet engine than microphone feedback.
