    Discovery 2 Squeal and Noise

    Hi, just now my D2 is making an squealing and 'water in the belt nosie' when accelerating and coasting, so it has to do with the drive line I suspect.

    The front drive shaft has grease nipples which I regularly put grease into.

    Any help would be great thanks

    Not sure what 'water in the belt noise' sounds like but try spraying chain lube or similar into centre of front prop double cardan joint. If noise changes/disappears, rebuild/replace.

    Replaced it with an spare front shaft and the nosie is gone, so it was the tail shaft
