Argh how to save map on Nanocom

I want to use TD5inside for remap, Jose seems to be my best bet.

I have put a file case called 'Map' on my SD card.

I go to download map, I can't find a way to put the information into the 'Map' file.

Nanocom then 'reads' the ECU file, I go to save fie and I get 'can't save file' only option is to accept 'OK'

Then I get 'saving file' but I have nothing to see for my trouble.

    Can anyone help me, PLEASE.

Cheers, well, cheerless at the moment.

    Mike

    SD Card Format?

    This might be a fix?

Some SD cards require formatting to a particular file structure before they will work in particular devices.
I have had a friends bike dashcam camera card not work because it was not formatted to the correct file system.
Some types of interface only like FAT32 format up to 32GB, and cant deal with 64 GB EXFAT format cards. Not sure with the Nanocom.
How big is the SD card you are using, and had you previously used it in a different type of device?

    SD Card

Nanocom states SD Card 1 - 16 Gig, I'm using an 8 Gig card correctly formatted.

    Thanks

Argh how to save map on Nanocom

    Hi Mike,
Posted on the other thread in elect diagnostic section

Did you use the BBS format tool from there wed site?

If you did this should put two files folders on the card already
Think it's listed as SSB and BBS
The BBS is where I select to save logging info or .map files or .tun files
Also some cards types don't work apparently??

Are you doing the on off procedure correctly?

You must switch before you click ok on the Nanocom when asked.

Do you have a good power supply connected? Not just the battery?

And sometime it just won't work!! And you have to try again!

Let us know how you go
