I replaced all four corners on my deFender with RDA slotted rotors.
Also with their metallic brake pads.
No squeal....Braking is improved but still pretty bad.......

Haha just read all the replies.I hope the rotors last..They come with a warranty of 18months or 30kkms from RDA

ARB bullbar arw made in Thailand, TMJ bullbar made in China. I am not sure who cast those rotors for DBA? Maybe they imported the rotors and slotted them?
On the other hand, I am pretty sure they are all made from Aussie iron ores if anybody cares.....

    Also just to add

Interestigly, the original equipment on my puma defenders are brembo rotors.
They are very soft. They produce plenty of dusts and I have to replace the rear at 40kkms and the front at 60kkms....

That's what I run pretty much exclusively. The Bendix stuff is pretty good, their support is great, and they are at the pointy end of current and emerging technology. Ditto the DBA stuff can be referenced in the same sentence as Brembo without sounding silly... I've worked professionally with all three and rate them all highly. some Ford and FPV vehicles used an interacting combination of Brembo and DBA componentry with great results.

FYI the 'Kangaroo Paw' is for the ventilation not the grooves, also the Discovery 2 DBA T2 rotors do not have the kangaroo paw ventilation.

I fitted a pair of DBA T2's to the front of my D2, with Repco ThermoQuiet' pads. No complaints from me about their performance.

This says here that the dba t2 for discovery have the kangaroo paw, or is it just a blanket statement that some models of the t2 have it and some dont

Blanket statment I would say. From DBAs website “*Kangaroo Paw is not available on all part numbers, ask your supplier for detailsT2 slot - Disc Brakes Australia You could contact the seller to 100% confirm if not having the Kangaroo Paw is a deal breaker.
