Thread: Removing front headrest and grab handles

Hello,

Wanted to fit some DVD players for our Aussie adventure but they wouldn't fit because of the grab handles.

Removal is as follows;

Lift headrest to highest position
At the base, rotate circle locking device anti clockwise. I lifted up one side, then the other.
To the outside of the locking device there is a small Phillips screw that must be removed.
Once this is removed pull the grab handle upwards. This will cause the locking device to come off the headrest stem.
Pull back the seat fabric and, gently, work the handle free.
The handle will then lift off it's stem

Finally replace locking device on stem and make secure with a little whack.
