Oh that`s good to hear and i bet they were very affordable as well.

The no name brakes you have are no comparison to Delio`s .
Do we really need to compare a donkey to a Ferrari.
Delio`s doe`s performance brake packages which is what a lot of us wanted good reliable brakes with longevity.
Delio`s are a reputable Australian company with after sales service and help that are very contactable .

I removed the wheels and checked, to me there was no appearance of brake dust accumulation, but I gave the discs a good high pressure hosing and the problem went away.

Ps did you not replace the brake pads with brand new ones when you changed the rotors?

Yeah replaced with new pads that you sold me

I'll give'm a hose this afternoon, but wiped them down before reinstalling.

I had no name rotors on my D2 once and were ok, then one day towing my boat and needing to brake to slow down from highways speed at night, I nearly lost control as all braking force was applied to one front side only. After the initial scare and shock inspection showed the machine part of the disc had separated from the hub part of the disc rotor so it was spinning when the brakes were applied but since it was no longer attached to the hub it prevented braking on that front wheel. the rotors were on the D2 when I bought it.

As for palpitations where your no names grooved ? if you don't have grooves machined then you do take away the possible clogging factor. But as I said earller a quick hose solved mine problem'

Well the question is_ do you need Ferrari Brakes on a 4WD?

I paid a lot more for custom grooved discs, than the current pair.

Went through a river crossing and gained a pulsation. Turned out to be a cracked disc.

I am afraid IMHO, that in some ways the current fashion for some 4W drivers is expensive discs, somewhat like collagen puffed lips on women.

Delio import rotors from China. Look delio is probably better than ebay seller but ain't not Ferrari

What is wrong with using LR genuine rotors and pads as replacements, Are the Delios products Better?

No im not paid nor have any financial gain or interest FYI.
I do run their brakes and am very impressed with the performance as a package and the company to deal with .

Well this would fall in the same category of suspension mods and engine performance mods ect .

So in reply to your naive sounding response .
Delios do not charge a premium for their Rotors compared to other brands .
Why we improve our brakes are your standard setup is adequate and that is it .
Also if you were to buy LR rotors for your D2 im sure the cost would be more expensive .
We improve braking on standard for several reasons as we do suspension and eng performance diffs ect,

So if i can improve something from standard at a reasonable cost i will


I am at ease with the safety choice of brakes for my family and others that i have decided on.
Delios Rotors are manufactured in China yes ,
They are made to Delios requirement and under their control and compound with a high carbon content .
All this is public so no charade `s .

Slotted Rotors reduce the gas build up with high and frequent use the result is more pad surface contact so better braking in short .

I am at ease with the safety choice of brakes for my family and others on the road .
I mainly tow a off road van also heavy off road use so these brakes suit my needs as do the other mod`s that i have done to my car .
There are plenty of happy and content customers on this forum that have Delios brakes that speak highly and did not pay top dollar
