So the old green girl runs again after 12 months off the road for life to pass by and finish the head on it.

Slapped it back together on Tuesday and it’s running sweetly all but for horrific and no throttle response off the mark when cold

Does anyone in Brisbane (Southside?) have the crank locking pin I could borrow in return for cold malted drinks sometime this weekend to check and adjust valve timing?

All my tools are a 6 hour round trip away but as we drive landrovers, always a box of sockets et al in the boot!

Update: a few drill bits, mosquito bites and it’s running better than ever, cam timing pin was aligned with crank holes not crank slot

no fault codes, no other obvious issues when warm, just like a doped out sloth when cold!
