Where did those "Legal notes" come from? Was it from the vendor of the LED halogen replacements Mick? Cheers.

Gottcha. So best swing back to ultraflex or just stick with stock. I found Osram Nightbreaker extremes (German made) in stock wattage are excellent. They have survived Cape York trip being submerged and rattled like crazy and about 3 years...

    Wattage or lumens?
Halogens are only 8% efficient. Don't know how efficient a LED is but I'm tipping the equivalent of a 100W halogen would be a 10W LED.

Stock halogen wattage but quality halogen globe and definately better brighter light with better pattern. For modest increase in cost over more standard bulbs it's well worth it. I can't recall lumins rating. It was very obvious over stock Phillips globes. Was fun to initially leave one Phillip's in and check out difference.

I'm looking for a set of driving lights.
These ones put out 3800 lumens.

not having a go, but i'd be keen to know if do you have any actual proof to back up your claims that he hasnt designed etc etc, or is it just opinion / hearsay?

i personally wouldn't know enough about it to know one way or the other but i would be very interested to know the real story.

the led headlights he sells certainly behave as advertised in my experience but i see many selling what looks like exactly the same product without the name etc cast/engraved in them.

Thanks mate, yeah I saw this thread while I was searching for information. However, only one bloke had them installed as far as I could see, and he never replied to any questions.. So you have these installed now? Do they look as crap in real life as they do in the ebay photos? Got any pics?!
