just been looking under Disc and found out i still have a air compressor , i thought last owner had taken it out when thy put springs under it,
How do i test to see if it still works and if so can you use it to blow up tyres ,or if it does still work how much to refit airbags back on rear![]()

I've refitted 2 d2s with air suspension, well worth it, in all honesty though the compressor is likely shot, either that or the airbags were leaking so they turfed them, which probably means again, that the compressor is shot, the main concern if it is ok, is making sue that the system is dust free if pipes have been left unhooked, you can rebuild the compressor, and for a better filter as well.
The sls height sensors could also be wonky, I'm seeing a few like that now, again available aftermarket reasonable price, no idea if any good, but I'd have a go if I was you, is one of the best features of the car.
It will be a long steel cylinder bolted to a chassis rail.

seriously,, from NEW it has a duty cycle of 30? secs?
but its NOT designed for more.
