    Torque converter

    Apart from the front mount. Is a D1 3.9 Converter the same as a D2 4.0.
    i.e. both can be adapted to the td5 with a new baseplate?

    I have an Ashcroft Mid size V8 TC adapted to TD5 with lower stall. . My flex plate cracked and the fluid pump drive teeth died. I can’t find chuckles in the Fluid so I recon it should be fine
