Can you hear the fuel pimp running for a short while after switching on the ignition?
Just wondering if anyone with a nanocom can help me out in Fern tree Gully Vic tomorrow? Td5 Disco just stopped like it ran out of diesel? Cheers Brett

MY21.5 L405 D350 Vogue SE with 19s. Produce LLAMS for LR/RR, Jeep GC/Dodge Ram

No mate, no buzzing like I usually hear. Maybe the relay?
More likely the fuel pump has expired.
You could bridge the fuel pump relay socket's switched contacts to check for current draw. Typically the pump motor brush holders melt.

The gist is that if it's a fuel delivery issue then nanocom is useless cos that system is not covered by diagnostics

Tbhanks sierrafery, bugger . So nothing will show up at all in regards to the fuel even a dodgy relay?
Is there a way of testing the pump when out of the car?
