Front seats electric and/or manual

					Evening folks
I asked this on the FB page, but not a huge response, so hoping for a bit more specific info here...
We have a D2a with clot, manual seats. I've just acquired a 110 County with leather, electric seats fitted (electrics not wired in). The D2 seats are too high on the modified mounts he made (extremely well) for me to use at 6'4" - they mean I sit way too high and have to duck to see out the windows of the County.
So I'm thinking of fitting them in our D2a. The Disco I assume has the loom sitting there for the electric seats and I'd just need to plug them in and find a set of switches to attach to the console.
My questions are... Do the electric and manual seats use the same rails - as in can I 'motor' the electric seats off the modified base & rails and onto our existing manual rails? It has been suggested a welder/fabricator could reinstate the normal D2 seat mounts, but this could likely end up costing more than just buying a set of manual leather seats...
If not, can the seat cushion and back be moved onto the exisiting manual seat frame? But this also begs the question as to whether the seat adjustment and seat back-rake can be converted back to manual operation as well. I don't really care if they're electrically operated or not, but a height difference between myself and my wife means we need to be able to adjust such things.
Thoughts and advice?
Cheers
Mike
