If it is a genuine overboost situation, the car will be very Unresponsive, and there will be a logged fault in the ecu,
simply restarting the car will restore performance, but the logged fault will remain. Is this what you are seeing?

Yeah from the egr delete I have an nipple that feeds my autometer boost gauge, have got it up to 28psi some days with I wind the boost up still goes hard

Do you have a nanocom? If so , What boost reading does that show when you are up at 26-28 psi ?
