ive found this works for me
I have done a search on here and am either very confused or I do not understand what is written. So a new thread.
The battery was flat. So unlock the door with the key and pop the bonnet. Read 5 volts at the battery. So decide to jump start the car. Soon as I try and connect a battery the alarm goes off and wakes the neighbours who all think my car is being stolen. When it turns out to be me they are not so happy about being woken up. I close and lock door, push down the bonnet micro switch but still cannot connect a battery without the very loud alarm firing up.
How do I get a new battery connected without the alarm going off. Please please use simple explainations I am not switched on to D2 speak.

If you have a Nanocom you can turn it off with that, I've disabled mine as it did it a few times while at work due to the same problem.
Of course I can't remember how to do it, but it was pretty straight forward and if I can do it anyone can.![]()
Too easy, this time I waited until no one was in bed. But it worked fine. Next I need to know why, out of the blue, the battery goes flat. It is a replacement for the last battery that went flat and was blamed for the problem. May be the SLAB computer is the cause as the air suspension and ABS don't work. Must get a replacement off Ebay.
