Disco 2 TD5 Camshaft front oil seal

For anyone interested, I have just replaced my top cover gasket/seals and thought I'd do the camshaft front oil seal as well.

In the past I have just purchased the complete cover with new 'o' ring for around $20 I think.
This time I thought I would try to find just a replacement 'o' ring instead and after a quick visit to my local bearing supplies (in my case ... Statewide Bearings in WA) I quickly found what was needed.
Their part# BS330 'o' RING NITRILE at a price of $1.66 incl gst was a perfect fit!!
    I also bought an extra 2x spares ..... total price ... $5.28

Yep, same supplier a few of us have used for it. There’s details in another thread in here somewhere. Works out much more economical than the real deal - although being plastic on a hot engine I would recommend probably replacing the entire piece every 7 to 10 years for reliability sake.
