Aside from a stuffed MAF sensor, what else might produce an idle MAF value (nanocom) of about 40 and a WOT MAF value no greater than 250?
Happening to me now. Less overall power. Have sprayed MAF cleaner well and truely on MAF and no change. MAF value shows nil when unplugged so would appear to still be doing something (haven’t driven it with MAF unplugged to see how different).
What else is worth investigating?

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
I see it's 2000 year so just unplug the MAF and drive it so without fear... anyway most probably the sensor is fubar so if you have EGR buy a new one

The MAF on Eu2 modells is mainly for EGR management so once the EGR is deleted the MAF becomes useless unlike the Eu3 which is using it for fuelling calculations too

So if I disconnect the MAF on my 2004 Td5, it won't run?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
It will but your fuel usage will be high
With MAF unplugged the Eu3 will go to default on MAP reading like the Eu2 is from factory... runs but not with 100% efficiency
