Question Flat battery... how to open doors?

Probably a stupid question with a simple answer.

I have a flat battery in my 2000 TD5 Disco. I can open the driver's door with the key okay, but
can't open the other 3 doors or the tailgate, even from the inside. Without charging/changing the
old battery, how can I open the other doors, or is that not doable?

    Any help much appreciated.

    SERIES land Rover forum.
    We dont have those problems.

Jump starter pack will give you power. Jumper leads to Ride on mower, with 12v battery may work.

You should be able to unlock the passenger and tailgate doors the old fashioned way, with the key. The two rear doors may unlock with two pulls of the interior handle.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Only driver's door is keyed on my '02 TD5 auto.
other passenger doors should accept double pull from inside.
I'm too busy on other jobs to change the navigators lock, so lean across & double pull the handle.
    Not sure about tailgate.

It may not due to deadlocking?

At all? So if the engine is running the only way to unlock the doors is with the dash button?

Unless deadlocked I thought, when locked it should unlock with first pull of the inside door handle and open with the second pull.

Ah, it's called superlocking, not deadlocking.

    Super locking
Super locking prevents the use of the interior door handles to unlock and open the vehicle doors. This prevents the
doors from being opened if the window be smashed in an attempt to gain access to the vehicle.

There are four configurations for super locking:
    l No super locking.
l Super locking on single handset press only (no key activated super locking).
l Super locking on single handset press or single key turn.
l Super locking on double handset press or double key turn.

To super lock, press the lock button on the handset once or twice within one second depending on system
configuration. In some configurations, it is also possible to super lock the vehicle using the key in the driver's door.
This also may require one or two turns of the key in the lock direction. If two turns of the key are required to activate
super locking, the two turns must occur within one second of each other.

In order to super lock the vehicle, the following conditions must be met:
    l All door are closed.
    l The ignition is off.
l The fuel cut-off switch is not tripped.
    Cheers
