    Td5 mounting

    Hi all

    was checking my engine mounts today which are not old but noticed drivers side has rubbing marks does it need replacing. There is a vibration that im chasing.

    About 3 years old (30k) oem from island 4x4. there's no sign of rubber sagging near the bottom hole its just the rub marks on the top.

    The engine mounts are another item which must be genuine LR for reliability... what brand were those "OEM" ones ?

    X 3 for geniune. I bought my genuine from islland 4x4. Not cheap, but worth it.

    Had a look trough my receipts and found that they were marked as genuine from island 4x4. So i removed the r/h mount today and can clearly see that is marked on one side (under torque side) everything else look good so rotated it 180 and refitted. I would like to watch it under load but dont trust the wife with the controls whilst im under there.

    Just to clarify i was wondering if the rubbing wear marks shown is normal or is that mount failing. It can be viewed easily seen through the rh inner guard if anyone wouldn't mind checking theirs to compare would be appreciated.
