hi there. had same problem with mine when i did them a few weeks back. got genuine washers and o rings from mario . no issues so far . pete :-))
I replaced the injector washers (genuine) and seals recently and the job went well but did note that the washers were very tight to go on, even with the nozzle completely clean the washer would go to about half way then stop. I gently and only slightly reamed the washers and all went on easy. Have any others come across the same problem as most seem to say they went on loose.

They are tight. Don't worry what you did is fine. They seal against the ridge on the injector tip and the head surface, not the nozzle.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
yes on mine the ridge was not visible until I got a dental pick and very carefully chipped out the black carbon hiding it.
I think sometimes when these jobs go wrong it is because the mechanic doesn't realize that the ridge is there.

A Land Rover Dealership Mechanic told be they are tight and the trick was to put a small socket over the nozzle and give it a light tap with a hammer to get them on.
I tried the first one with a 8mm deep socket, got it on but it deformed the washer so wasnt happy. Then reamed the hole every so slightly which allowed them to slip on. The shaft of the nozzle was spotless clean so I guess that the shaft distorts with heat or the washers are not made to exact size.
It seems quite common and just part of the Land Rover tolerances
P.s Were the early 10p engine injectors a different size washer?
