I managed to get a NEW plennium fited with my last windscreen covered by insurance, Whyats in Geraldton organised it for me

Unfortunately they’re not available individually. Currently I am using weather proof tape but plan to replace it with a length of “U” shaped rubber moulding and fit it so the top edge of plenum cover is in the “pinch” and then run a bead of black Silastic along where it is in contact with the glass.

I had the same. The old scuttles are so brittle they break when they do the windscreen.

IIRC the only downside is they don't have the ventilation holes in them?

I had a new genuine one fitted three years ago under insurance.

I have one of the fibreglass plenums in the garage waiting to get fitted. Can somebody who has actually fitted one please tell me definitively whether or not the lack of holes actually makes any real difference? I've read conflicting opinions on this and would much appreciate some real world experiences before I take the Dremel to it.

Incidentally, Rexypow in Malaysia don't seem to be doing these any more as they've disappeared from the Ebay store and the website.

I'd rather have the ventilation as it means you can bring fresh air in without having to open a window, but a few of the fellas here have fitted them over the years and don't seem to have missed it?
