Hi guys,
Interesting topic and want to here what is yours.
I just got mine checked today against 265/70/R16 BGF AT on Dynamic rims with my D2a 03 TD5 manual: 78L refill on 650kms short distance travelling in Sydney towns. 50% aircon is on at 19-20oC.
So it is 12l/100km.
Is that too bad?![]()

Are you correcting a percentage for tyre size?
I guess you are to get 12l per 100.
I used to get 11.5 when Mine wasn't modified.
I don't know now as it is a bugger to calculate with the 150l tank as it can vary by 5+ litres depending on final clicks..

I have never gotten mine d2a manual TD5 under 13l per hundred, so much throttle, loving the turbo spooling and power
My auto was pretty consistent with 12l/100km with a bloody big parachute on top but I haven't checked for a while.

Re fuel consumption - I have a long commute each weekday to work and return. Averaging a 180km round trip every day on a mix of regional highway and outer suburban roads. My diesel fuel economy is steady between 10.4 to 10.8 L/100kms week in week out... . My 1999 D2 is tall, running 235/85/16 on standard LR steel wheels. Add a suspension lift, roof bars, fitted with a mesh tray and basket. NB: a Hunter Di C6200-4 ratio interface unit is installed to correct the road speed signal for the larger tyres.
