    ACE

What pressure does ACE produce? I have a leak at the banjo pie to hose joint.

What temperature does the system operate at? The hose bloke reckons the existing (leaking) hose is overrated temperature wise and he can supply a more robust hose that takes higher pressure but lower temp rating.
Of course, the fittings are a Land Rover exclusive, requiring a cut and shut modification, to use available fittings.

Might be worth finding out so you know if the difference in temperature rating is worth being concerned about - e.g. perhaps the old one is 180*C rated and new one is 120*C rated in which case both are likely fine as from my observations of my vehicle I've not noticed the ACE being hot.

I have no ideea about the ACE temperature(i dont thinkit's very high) just be aware that what ever pipes you use the ID must be 100% the same or the system will not work well

I won't be using that hose service again! 18" of hose and a couple of fittings $500, there'll be no lunches in this household for the rest of the week.

That 18" of hose would be just long enough to wrap round his neck if you were to take it back!
