    Wombat bar.

Are they interchangeable between D2 and D1?

umm, I know we don't need a wombat bar down here, but what is it and where does it go? Is it the bar that helps support the bottom of the front bumper?

That's the one. The dimension of the D2 is larger in diameter and I believe thinner in the wall, but I don't know if the mounting is common.

Hi James NZ - yes definitely needed as it is a steering guard which prevents taking out the steering when you hit a large animal at high speed. Perhaps should be called a Sheep Bar in NZ......

The D1 bar is more robust.

I fitted a steering guard. A good investment, looking at the gouges in it.
