    TD5 PAS suction line.

Should it just be hanging loosey goose in the breeze from the reservoir to the pump?
I'm sure the steel bend at the bottom before the hose climbs back up to the pump should be secure, but mine never has been.
Anyone have a photo of a bracket at all, please?

No they don't have a restraint. They move around. It's common for the steel pipe to rub through on the sump. I have restrained a few of them by making a L bracket up off one of the sump bolts and using a p clamp.
It doesn't leak oil, Its sweating power

    Cheers for that.
I'll make something up, it's already chaffed through an adjacent pipe cover

Justin advised Epic Dragon to replace the drain with vacuum hydraulic hose.

They came from the factory with a bit of soft foam around that pipe, lasted a month or three....

I cable tied a piece of that heavy duty old grey flexible conduit around it where it rubs on the sump,on all my D2's.

    Left it flopping around,no issues.

Anther issue is where the top coolant hose rubs on the AC pipes, near the compresser, but you are probably onto that.

Torch and mirror, check fuel hoses on top of fuel tank, they rubbed through some vehicles as well.

That should give you something to do between call outs

    Bastard!

Had so much planned for today...

Ran out of puff at lunchtime. Guess who was on-call this past week?

And justified,we been really slow these last few weeks,i have been bored.

Very unusual, can't remember the last time it was like this.

Still have things on,but its just slow.

Finished all the stuff on the 'things to do list',around the workshop.

Might have to head down to Arrawarra for a break,we love that place, and the coast road down to there is now fantastic

It is lovely there, i was in Coffs on Thursday but didn't get time to stop. TD5 PAS suction line.
Left here at 5:30am, home at 7:30, thank god Ben covered for me the night before, he had a 1am finish but I still nearly had to go to Kyogle at 10:30pm as he was in MacLean. Luckily there's a switched on staff member there and we sorted it over the phone.

Been quiet here, too, but the AH stuff is still ticking along and we're about to start 15 high wall installs in an aged care place.
We'll spread them out over the month, a few need a scissor, too.

The road from here to Maclean is still painfully slow, I can't see it being open until the end of the year at the earliest but from Harwood on its great.

I remember years ago, mate of mine used to tow a huge boat to Minnie Waters, from Brisbane,to go fishing off shore.
He used to allow 6hrs to get there.

We get there now in 3 3/4 hours from here.

Once they get that slow section through Woodburn area sorted it will be even better, although we often stop there for a quick stretch.

There are another couple of slow sections as well, but they are working on them,as you said.
