I fitted a hybrid CHRA core to my stock turbo from turborebuild a few years ago and I have not really been impressed. My car is has also been retuned.
I have just ordered a turbo technics VGT turbo which is meant to give great low and mid range gains and it also a direct bolt on.

I would definitely upgrade the intercooler before doing anything turbo related to the car.

LOF heavy duty clutch still dual mass flywheel.

I admit I am useless as tits on a bull when it comes to doing anything mechanical.

but trying to make sure I dont do all this than have the turbo fail and **** the engine

I was about to order a clutch etc. LOF emailed me yesterday that they are sending 20 single mass fly wheels a month to Australia, and no dual mass. This surprised me, I was under the impression that almost all advice is to stay with the dual mass so as to protect gearbox etc. Also , I was under the impression that the DM fly wheels are about as reliable as SM.

Where is the truth here? Is it just a question of $s that makes people get SM fly wheels?

Also, has anyone installed the POWERslave?
