Thread: Fuse box

Hello D2ers. I had water get in to the fusebox under the drivers side dash. Caused havoc with alarm sounding loss of locking and indicators. Took a bit to figure out. I have sourced a few replacement units but was wondering on compatibility. Mine fitted with a YQE103320(manual). Have a YQE103820(auto) will this fit both are 99. Disco parts PDF I have lists YQE000410 only for 98 to 04.

Hi, YQE103xxx will fit any non facelift modell so you can use it. Disconnect the battery neg lead first then after the swap and battery reconnection turn ignition on 2 and let is so 5 minutes, this is necessary for the IDM to complete digital data comms with the BCU otherwise it can be immobilised. For future reference, there is a difference between facelift and non-facelift fuseboxes so there is no fusebox to work OK on all modells
