    You beat me to it Mario..... from experience I can vouch for the fact that they are noticeably noisey...

    Been there, done that around 2012.

    Harmonic balancer failure (primary cause) belt and all accessories off line. Broke the alternator to block mount bracket. At the time only one new one in Oz. Only after the bracket was replaced was the harmonic balancer failure diagnosed.

    Ended up being around 2000 2012 $$$$$$

    Only after all repaired did it dawn on me that the harmonic balancer had been failing for a couple of years. The small noise under the normal diesel rattle had gone away, not to mention the $$$$$$$ spent trying to find it, have it diagnosed.

    Best wishes for a simpler solution.
