    Jesus loves me

    IMG_1593.JPGIMG_1606.JPG

I had felt a strange vibration while overrunning in the past few days after returning from a 1500Km camping trip.
This morning I was bringing my camper trailer up to do maintenance and did a u turn near my house and heard a scrinch scrinch noise.
Had a look under and the universal on the front of the double cardan joint has no rollers.
I don't know if the yoke is damaged yet.
I have another shaft so switched them over.

Wow is that lucky or what?
    Regards PhilipA

    heard a scrinch scrinch noise.

Is a scrinch scrinch a more expensive repair than a Crunch crunch or a "**** me, what was that"?

This is what a scrinch scrinch looks like.
    Amazingly the yokes seem OK.
I pulled the UJs out. The other one in the double Cardan was fine,
Jeez I hate working on UJs.
