Middle row seatbelt preventing raising seat backs

I can’t get my middle row seats back up because of the tension on the middle seat’s belt. Arm rest was down already when I dropped the seats to get the cargo barrier in. That’s the only outlier I can think of. Has this happened to anyone else? If so what was the fix?

If the arm rest is down, it folds up when the back is lowered. Always has with mine. Got any photos of this? What is the seat belt hooked up on?

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Seat belt was hooked up on its own mechanisms. I took things apart a couple of hours ago and took a few photos & videos to do a write-up for anyone else who runs into this in the future. It's all fixed and functional now. Within 2 hours of purchase I was harvesting spares and a snorkel from a dead petrol model. Within 2 days of ownership I had this seatbelt issue. I'm beginning to suspect the Land Rover struggle is as real as I feared. Torque wrenches are in my near future as a precaution.
