    What the?

    The D2 has been running fine.
    Had not driven it for a week or more so thought I would start it up to charge the battery a bit & spin some oil up etc.
    Jump in, all the normal lights on the dash, turn key forward &
    Absolutely nothing?
    OK, flat battery maybe, put battery on charge for 4-5 hours, disconnect charger, turn key & nothing.
    No clunk, no winding, just like there is no power.
    But dash lights, interior fan etc are all coming on.
    Anybody got any ideas as I'm supposed to be going to Cloncurry on the week-end.
    And, yes it is in Park.

    The D2 has started.
    For some reason it thought it was locked?
    I had noticed before but it didn't twig, when I was getting in & trying to start the alarum light was still flashing & when I turned the key coming on as a hard red light.
    I gave it some thought & hit the unlock button again & low & behold she started after 1 wind over.
    Bloody Land Rovers!!

    I will read Hitch Hikers Guide again & learn the lesson.

    We have all done silly things at times.

    SWMBO went off to see her sister on Sunday, back in five minutes, all the lights are flashing she said.
    So I have a look, looks like she bumped the emergency flashers on.
    Off again, back in two minutes, dash alarms are going off.
    Yep,its the dog on the passenger seat, no seat belt on.

    FFS,i said,hasnt that happened before...

    You forgot to reprogram the Infinite Improbability Drive. Oh, and you also need to make a perfect cup of tea. As Arthur Dent discovered, you cannot do these thing simultaneously. But it all works out in the end.
