Finally got a chance to do this. Tested my wreck and it's key fob worked so pulled it's RF Receiver and swapped over. Problem solved, thanks.

If it's of any benefit to anyone, the part number for the 433MHz unit used in Australian vehicles is part number YWY000080 for the latest revision - around GBP 50.00 from UK part suppliers for a new genuine Land Rover unit. Both my car and the wreck had this part number being 2002 and 2003 built vehicles.
