Hi everyone,
I'm investigating a leak in the A-pillar and need to remove the external trim to have a squiz. I have the workshop manuals which indicate removing three trim fasteners.
Is there some trick to it? I tried removing one of them but kinda smashed it a bit. What does everyone else do? Just smash them off and replace them?
Cheers

No, Sikaflex to the rescue.
if you buy second hand ones the tangs are usually broken off anyway.

You could try standing on one leg and sticking your fingers in your ears and dancing around. It won't work, but your kids and your dog will love you.
Isn't that why we have Land Rovers?

Broke all my clips doing the same job. Used silicon adhesive, worked for a while then one trip to Adelaide i watched it fly off and land in a million pieces. Got some after market ones uses 3M tape to hold and seal to the windscreen.
