Thread: LT230 best ratio for 32 inch tyres

Personally I think 31inch on a D2 is the sweet spot for a variety of driving types. I have a 2 inch lift and wouldn't go 32 but the 31 v 32 is based on individual requirements and what is considered the priority etc. Cheers

Ive got BFGs 32's KO2 on the factory 16" rims with a 2 inch lift

I believe you can go 33 just without cutting. (I wish i got 33's. i was nervous that 33's wouldn't fit)

I noticed a couple of things.
speedo. yes its sucks not being correct
it is definitely more sluggish, but manageable with ECU Map
It got heaps worse when putting a roof rack and light bar on.
I personally would not touch the LT230 unless you change the low range ratio not the high.
Change the crown and pinion to suite your tires. and its much easier than pulling the LT230 out
