    Engine differences from 2002-04?

    Hi everyone.

Possibly a dumb question but here goes. Is there some sort of major difference between the v8 motors made AFTER 2002 up till 2004???

Ive found a good-ish deal on ebay for 8 ngk plugs and leads but only specifies upto 2002 models.

Mine is an 04 for the record. Can anyone shed some light on this, i don't want to waste $200 if I've missed something obvious.

    Thanks in advance everyone

All the D2s V8s are the same configuration, so the plugs and leads will fit.

Have you changed leads on a D2 V8 before? It's a bit of pain.

I found that removing the engine mounts and lowering the engine back down to get to the coils worked the best. Also be careful of your knees on the grill, they are pretty brittle these days. Ask me how I know

Cheers mate. Nah i haven't done it before, that's why i wanted to be sure before i committed. Will do plugs, leads and coils all in one go. Don't want to do it again in a hurry.

Engine mounts sounds like a good idea, i possibly need to change them anyways. Fan was contacting the plastic shroud after a big weekend on the trails so could be a busted mount in the mix.
