    Rough idle after battery disconnected?

Had the battery discontented for a few hours the other day. Now the car has a very rough idle. Is this normal?

Car starts fine and runs fine for about the first 15-20 seconds then sounds like its got a lumpy cam. Responds ok-ish when driving but feels a little hesitant.
Nothing like it was yesterday before i had the battery disconnected.
    Is a v8 for reference. 2004 model.

    Anyone come across this before?

Tried to run it with the MAF plug disconnected and it idles fine!

Surely it can't be a bad maf sensor, this one is only 4 months old?

For reference i disconnected the battery only. Nothing else was touched under the bonnet so couldn't have damaged anything or knocked anything like the MAF. Weird

Is the MAF genuine or aftermarket?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Not too sure to be honest mate. Its a Bosch unit from a reputable supplier here in Perth. Not an ebay item.
