Rear (boot) lock goes click click click, will not unlock.

And I have a cargo barrier and drawers. With most of my tools. Well I did get one and a half days problem free motoring. This car is giving me the ****s.
When I get access to the door, then what?

Update, I have manages top move the cargo barrier out of the way. The lamb leg I put in the back had fallen on the internal unlock tab. All is good. No D4 today

Latest, the internal lock tab is very low when locked. It would be very hard to pull this up without a thin, sharp, pointy knife

Re rar tailgate lock not opening with remote

I have asimilar problem that comes and goes.
What I have found is that if I lock the car, then apply pressure to tailgate and keep it there, then open "1st click" then "second click", that the tailgate then opens when I pull handle.
In my case it appears that there can sometimes be a bit of tension on the tailgate from a rear floor mat or bit rope (whatever) that has ended up wedged under the tailgate when it was shut.
When wedged (in my case) it appears that the lock mechanism doesn't pop free when opened with remote.

It comes up if you pull the door handle Rear (boot) lock goes click click click, will not unlock.

To prevent what happened to you, I fitted a cover made of a strap of aluminium riveting it over the tab to prevent exactly the issue you had.
