Fit a T to where the oil pressure switch is located, which is on the left side of the block near the back of the engine behind the spin-on oil filter.
Did you mean TD5?
I'm planning on fitting a SAAS dual gauge I had purchased quite some time ago for my TD5 for engine oil pressure and ATF temperature (in lieu of coolant temp which I already have via Nanocom Evo, and backed up by the engine saver available from Dave's Shop).
I already have the ATF sensor organised and welded to the bottom of the ATF sump, but have no idea how this engine oil pressure gauge connects to a TD5.
Picture of the supplied engine oil pressure unit is attached, with a hole in the end and then cable, so obviously there is a sensor within the chrome bit and cable connection to the gauge.
So, showing my ignorance, how/where to fit it at the engine end?

Do you plan to keep the original warning in place? If so you will need some sort of dual fitting, like a 'T' piece.
The OP switch is just behind the oil filter cartridge.
My RAVE CD is hiding, so Haynes will have to do.

Nanocom, D2 TD5 only.
Just be aware that you will probably find 2 wires to the oil pressure sensor and think one has become disconnected.
In fact Land Rover got a deal on 2 wire looms and one wire is all that is required so the other is just sitting there doing nothing.

Christian from LR Time installs an oil pressure sensor and gauge in their Disco 3 in this episode.
I hope it may be useful for you. At any rate they are great fun to watch.
best wishes.

Just to make it more annoying the thread for the factory oil sensor can either be m10x1 or 1/8 npt. Iirc later engines are M10 but it's not uncommon for older engines to have the later oil cooler assembly with the M10 thread as well
And if you can, use a steel T piece, not brass.
Brass can fatigue (seen it first hand), break and leak/fail.
