    Old Traxide SC80 repair

My old Teaxide SC80 died a couple of weeks ago. The part is 5 oe 6 years old, so well out of warranty. I took the unit apart and saw that some of the circuit tracks were corroded. A couple of the resistor joints looked dry. As I had nothing to lose I resoldered these parts and brought the unit back to life. I guess I will get another 5 or 6 years out of this. I am pleased as none of the other battery isolators are as good as the Traxide one. Not even close.

You could have talked to Tim. Best product support out there.

    Glad you got it sorted.

Actually, it is still in warranty.

I have a 5 year warranty and a lifetime repair policy on all my products.

If it is over 5 years old and can not be repaired, there is a heavily discounted price replacement policy.

Thanks for the support Bohica and Tins.
