I lengthened my abs sensor cables and brake lines so I could still use off road height after a 2 inch lift kit went in. Have used it plenty off road for steep exits and approaches. Has been free of issues since fitted in 2018......
I'm not sure that I would need to use off road height with a 2" lift. If push comes to shove, are there any drawbacks to using off road height for a short time?

The D2 that I’ve now sold has a 2” lift and rear airbags. I used extended heights quite a few times and I never had any issues.

When I put in the spacers, I noticed that the axle was held up by the 2" extra length shocker. The brake line and ABS cable were fine.
It is nice to know that the extra 2 inches is there if needed.
