I reckon it would also make towing easier on both the driver and transmission.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Interestingly, in NSW the transmission conversion itself doesn't require certification. However it does need certification because the gearbox mounts are fabricated and structural.

I'm not sure, but hopefully he got it completed. House of Torque had Lawrence and the machine complete a Td5/8HP build and demonstrated how it is all done through to driving. Hopefully the solutions are more out there now.
