I've wondered that too, especially once you've sold the td5. I'd suspect it also depends on if you're engineering it, it'd be a fairly keen copper that notices a swapped transmission (maybe if you're on an LR club run). An entire engine is a tad more obvious

Interestingly, in NSW the transmission conversion itself doesn't require certification. However it does need certification because the gearbox mounts are fabricated and structural.

Ah interesting, in WA any non OEM option gearbox needs engineering

Anyone know what has happened to RRT and this project?

It just seems to have vanished into thin air.
