    Air Spring Opinion

    Has anyone had experience with this type of air spring or have an opinion on them?

    I love the self leveling suspension because of its features, that being,
    1/ can raise up for more ground clearance when off roading.
    2/ Can raise up to get jockey wheel lowered on Tvan
    3/Can lower to make removal of heavy trailers easy, or at times if jockey wheel has run out of height.
    4/When camping I can lower to make fridge access much easy.

    However, with all the recent problems I am almost over it. And "almost" being the operative word here, as I don't want to get rid of it

    I have had this car now for 11 years with the suspension working fine. 2 new bags just after purchase and again 10 years later.

    Please don't respond with "ditch it and put coils in" as I am fully aware of this option.

    Dave, your link seems to be for "load assist" bags, not replacement bags.
    If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    Ad says: Full replacement airbags for Landrover Discover 2.

    They don't look like they'd fit inside the coils......

    Did that, and regretted it. When I can get mine back to being my daily the SLS is going back in. I wonder, do the ones you link to work with the SLS as it stands?

    Did you read to the end of the ad? It's also in the load assist sub-section.

    Yes, Ian. I also looked at the images. Look like full replacement to me, but as always, could be wrong.

    That's a convoluted air spring, often used as a helper with leaf springs.
    My understanding is it will have a completely different spring action to a rolling sleeve air spring, which is what is used in air suspension.

    I actually rang the company and had a chat. Although it looks like a helper type spring, it is a stand alone air spring that will fit straight into a D2
    and will work with existing height sensor and SLABS.

    My air springs last about 10 years too.

    OEM Cobtitech is what I use and no probs - have replaced twice and not expensive given thier 10 year life.
